The Student Health Ambassadors are a team of students who will be running an initiative that targets an element of physical and/or socio-emotional wellbeing. Learn more about who they are and what they plan to do below!
This year, our team consisted of 14 members, including 2 members of the Pre-16 leadership team.
I am planning a WIS-wide advocacy and education week about awareness surrounding Food Allergies, including educational infographics, tutor group activities and workshops and more!
My goal is to help raise more awareness and initiate activities regarding the importance of physical health (exercising enough!).
I aim to spread awareness for eating disorders and reduce the stigma around them.
My initiative aims to increase connectedness within our school community and educate students about mental health and wellbeing strategies.
My initiative tries to alleviate and combat Eating Disorders within school. One of my goals is to try and develop a healthier perception of food in general!
One of my favourite things to do in my free time is try various restaurants around HK with my friends!
Pre-16 Leader
My peer mentoring initiative aims to foster mutual support and growth through collaborative learning and guidance among students at WIS.
I am running a peer mentorship program with other student health ambassadors.
My aim is to encourage positive conversations about mental health and body image, while also making it more approachable for students to seek help and support!
Pre-16 Leader
Hi I'm Saffron, and I am aiming to bring more mental health initiatives, resources, and representation to the school.
I am collaborating with other Student Health Ambassadors on a peer mentorship programme and I'm likely going to run an initiative on dealing and coping with stress (e.g. how to face upcoming exams).
My initiative is to advocate people about OCD and how it can affect the daily life.
